Frederic Metthe, a multifaceted artist.

Born in Saint-Jérôme, Canada, Frédéric Metthé belongs to a family full of artists, who encouraged him to study arts. Being a teenager, he approached to sculpture making creative reliefs assembling colorful objects. But his objectives were bigger and he also founded a group of theatre where he wrote plays and composed musics (he is an excellent pianist).

During the seventies, his passion for music continued and he had great success in different places around the world. He also published poetry.

In the eighties, he entered the world of cinema and ballet and in 1991, he founded his own music production company: Frédéric Metthé International Inc (F.M.I Inc).

Multifaceted man, always looking for new ways of personal expression and deep communication, with the new century he recovered his old passion for visual arts. Now, it will be for painting, exploring this land with force, with the enthusiasm which has always characterized him, not settling or remaining inactive ever.

Has he abandoned the music? Of course, never. His paintings are a dialogue with it. The colors move with beauty, with rhythm, with the plasticity of a ballet.

Two starts face to face, brilliant starts, which are hiding complete worlds, maybe abstracts, maybe having a ladder, a bridge to cross to the other side, to every artistic possibility a person guards from the beginning, from his cradle. We must dare to explore our interior, with patience, with illusion, as Frédéric Metthé has been doing throughout his life.
