Anne Vallayer-Coster a French Rococo artist

Anne Vallayer-Coster was a French painter. She worked by the queen Mary Antoinette of France and had to stop working after the French Revolution due to her friendship with the killed queen.

However, her paintings (portraits and still life) still catch our eyes, as if a nice cook was preparing a warm meal in a steamy kitchen.

I made this video when ‘The Girls of Oil’ was first published.
